6) Acceptable Use

7) Intellectual Property

The Portal and its contents are owned by the College or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Portal to make payments and manage your student account.

8) Third-Party Services

Payment processing and certain features are provided by third parties. Your use of such services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party failures outside our reasonable control.

9) Disclaimers

The Portal is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the College from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Portal.

12) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Portal for suspected fraud, policy violations, legal requirements, or to protect users and systems. You remain responsible for fees incurred prior to termination.

13) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka (without regard to conflict-of-laws principles). Courts of competent jurisdiction in Sri Lanka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless the College specifies an alternative resolution process (e.g., mediation or arbitration) in its policies.
